The findings “should serve as an incentive for limiting consumption of UPF and encouraging natural or minimally processed foods, as several national nutritional policies recommend,” Marialaura Bonaccio, PhD, Department of Epidemiology and Prevention, IRCCS NEUROMED, Pozzilli, Italy, and colleagues write.
